Why didn't my swing work (troubleshooting)

If your video wasn't accepted or couldn't be analysed, the app will show a short message telling you what to change. Here's what each one means and how to fix it.


The Upload Didn't Finish

Upload failed or timed out → check your connection and try again. See "Upload failed" or "Upload timed out."
An upload or analysis is already running → wait for it to finish. See "Upload in progress" or "Analysis in progress."
We couldn't open the video → the file may be damaged. See "We couldn't open this video."
The Video Wasn't Accepted

Wrong file type → see "This file type isn't supported."
Wrong length → see "Your video is the wrong length."
Quality not supported → see "This video quality isn't supported."
We Couldn't Analyse The Swing

Details


No tennis swing found → see "We couldn't find a tennis swing."
You or your racket left the frame → see "Keep yourself and your racket in frame."
More than one person → see "We couldn't tell which player to analyse."
Too dark or too bright → see "Your video was too dark or too bright."
Filmed too far away or too close → see "Move your camera closer or further back."
Filmed in portrait → see "Record in landscape."

Good news: a failed video never uses up one of your swings. You're only charged a swing when you get coaching feedback back.
